Hi there! I’m Melissa.
My family and I are from the great state of Idaho, where life is always an adventure with my husband, our five children, and our three dogs.
I’ve always been passionate about helping others, which led me to study Criminal Justice in college. I spent years working as a Civil Rights Investigator for the state, a job I truly loved. But when my family and I moved across the state, I had to start over.
I quickly found a new job, but something was missing. The long 50 to 60+ hour workweeks left me drained and unfulfilled. I knew I needed more—more time, more freedom, and more control over my future.
My Trading Journey
One day, while scrolling through Facebook, I saw an ad about Forex trading. The person mentioned PIPs and market movements, terms I had never heard before. My curiosity got the best of me, so I started researching. That one moment changed everything.
I began learning to trade while working full-time, but at first, I treated it as just another side interest. Then, about a year later, everything in my life shifted.
I was diagnosed with breast cancer, and suddenly, my income dropped significantly. Short-term disability only covered 60% of my regular salary, and the overtime I depended on was gone. On top of that, medical bills started piling up.
That was my wake-up call. I realized I needed to take control of my financial future.
From that moment on, I committed fully to trading. I worked through the challenges, stayed consistent, and kept learning. I surrounded myself with mentors and a strong trading community, and step by step, my skills grew.
By January 2025, I reached a milestone I once thought was impossible—I quit my job and became a full-time trader.
What Trading Has Given Me
✅ Financial Independence – I control my income and no longer rely on overtime or a 9-5 job.
✅ Time Freedom – I set my own schedule and prioritize my family.
✅ Location Freedom – As long as I have internet access, I can work from anywhere.
